Welcome to the 2023-2024 Coach Registration for the Osseo Maple Grove Hockey Association.

Thank you for volunteering to be a coach with OMGHA.  OMGHA coaches need to go through several steps before they can be added to a team roster.  

In order to be considered for a coaching position, please work through all necessary steps on the next page by pressing the "CONTINUE" button at the bottom of this page:

1. USA Hockey Coaching Confirmation Number. There will be a $56.00 fee to register. This fee can be reimbursed to you by OMGHA. 

2. Register with OMGHA AS A COACH -- this is a free registration and can be started by clicking continue down below. 

3. Complete a Background Check -- There is a $30 fee that can be reimbursed to you by OMGHA.

4. CEP - All coaches (Head, Assistant, Goalie) need to be current with their USA Hockey CEP Level certification or have a class scheduled by tryout time to be considered for a coaching position. This fee can be reimbursed to you by OMGHA

5. Age Module - All coaches (Head, Assistant, Goalie) must complete their online age-specific module prior to participating with their team. This fee can be reimbursed to you by OMGHA

6. Safesport – ALL Head and Assistant Coaches, Managers, Locker Room Volunteers and Board Members need to complete the USA Hockey SAFESPORT on-line training to be on ice and rostered or you will be removed as a coach, manager or volunteer for the year.  SAFESPORT registration is free.  SafeSport is required every year.

OMGHA reimburses PARENT COACHES for the following expenses:

1.     USA/MN Hockey—Coach registration   

2.     CEP Course

3.     Age Group Module video training

4.     Background Check Fee

5.     Traveling Coach Apparel  (OMGHA approved jacket, pant, and hat, once every 3 years.)  Limit 4 sets per team.

OMGHA reimburses STUDENT COACHES for the following expenses:

1.     USA/MN Hockey—Coach registration  

OMGHA reimburses NON PARENT COACHES  for the coaching expenses listed above and for travel expenses.  Travel expenses are reimbursed within two weeks of submission.  Please submit them right after a tournament.  Request a non-parent coach packet from your level director or head coach for all the details.

 Please fill out a check request form and forward it and copies of the original receipts (not confirmations or orders) to Jason Price at AsstTreasurer2@omgha.com or place them in his box at the Osseo rink office.Reimbursement checks will be sent in the mail at the end of January, following the finalization of rosters.
